How to decide the dosage of ACH-01(drinking water grade)

1.Description

ACH is short for Aluminum Chlorohydrate, it is an inorganic polymer that with higher alkalinity than PAC and second only to aluminum hydroxide . It can be used for drinking water treatment, urban sewage and industrial wastewater treatment, it can also used as cosmetic raw materials, etc.

ACH-01 is drinking water grade, non-toxic, non-dangerous.

 

2.Purpose of experiment

Reduce the turbidity of raw water, determine the best dosage

 

3. Experimental method

Prepare 5 beakers with the volum 500ml each, pour 500ml raw water into each beaker. Adjust PH. Add 4ppm,5ppm,6ppm,7ppm,8ppm ACH in each beaker

Stir 1 minute at the same time at the same time, observe flocculation speed and which is the clearest. Then we can decide the best dosage.
